Our Core Values at Work

What’s your favorite way to pursue knowledge?
Listening -- presentations, public radio, podcasts. And one-on-one conversations, of course.
What’s one true thing about you that not many people know?
I’ve worked a lot of odd jobs, particularly in high school and college. I’ve flipped burgers, delivered flowers, taught fitness classes, answered phones at a call center and even worked as a cashier at a Rockefeller Center gift shop. Those jobs have helped me discover what I like to do and more importantly, what I’m not good at (such as being a cocktail waitress … never, ever again).
What’s the bravest thing you’ve ever done?
I drove across the country one summer, alone, in a car with no A/C, no GPS, and no cruise control.
What makes you a great team member?
Commitment to quality.
What are five things that make you happy?
Snow; Sharpies; serial commas; cereal; songs in a minor key.
