Jon Welsh leads the Brooks Bell people operations team, partnering with the business to attract, develop and retain the team members who make Brooks Bell one of the Best Places to Work in the triangle.
He has 15 years’ experience in a broad range of industries working with growing organizations to build and enhance great cultures.
Jon holds a BA in Psychology from North Carolina State University and a MS in Human Resource Management from the University of Surrey in England.

What’s your favorite way to pursue knowledge?
Learning from others. Being with someone while they discuss or do something they’re passionate about is always inspiring.
What’s one true thing about you that not many people know?
I’d usually rather be outside cycling, hiking, camping or heading to the beach.
What’s the bravest thing you’ve ever done?
Freshly out of college, I moved overseas and began traveling extensively, experiencing a lot of great places and meeting some amazing people.
What makes you a great team member?
I endeavor to be a good listener and can always be relied on to give my honest and constructive opinion.
What are five things that make you happy?
Time with family, friends and my dog; traveling somewhere new; getting away to the beach or mountains; playing a new/interesting board game; things to geek out over.
