Each week at Brooks Bell, we have a short meeting Friday morning with the entire team. During the meeting we get updates on tests and the company, and award a “Star of the Week.”
This week our star is client coordinator Beth LaRousse. Always working to improve her skills and expand her knowledge of testing tools as well as development, Beth lives our core values everyday. As Jim presented her with the award, he gave a glowing description of Beth’s work and her attitude—so awesome! Congratulations Beth!
Where are you from and how did you end up in Raleigh at Brooks Bell?
I was born and raised on the beautiful beaches of Long Island, New York. I made the risky decision of giving up the best bagels and pizza (and quitting my job) to move down to Raleigh with no set plan. Luckily, after one short month, I was hired here at Brooks Bell.
Which of Brooks Bell’s core values resonates with you the most?
Create happiness! Life is too short to be anything but happy.
What is the best part about being a Client Coordinator?
The clients! I love that so much of my time is spent working with our awesome clients. The diversity of their businesses allows me to jump into a different world every day—from retail to financial services and everything in between.
The Brooks Bell Star of the Week is a team member who has gone above and beyond typical expectations during the week. The award is designed to empower our team and ensure everyone’s hard work is appreciated and recognized.
The winner receives a large trophy they get to keep for the entire week, fully equipped with extra Nerf darts (extra protection for those impromptu Nerf wars). They also get the honor of selecting the following week’s winner.
