Each week at Brooks Bell, we have a short meeting Friday morning with the entire team. During the meeting we get updates on tests and the company, and award a “Star of the Week.”
This week, our Star is support analyst, Molly Bruckman. With so much out of office time because of the weather, coordinating and getting everyone aligned has been tough the past few weeks. Throughout the inclemate weather, Molly has been there to move everything forward. Congratulations Molly!
What do you like to do outside of work? Any hobbies?
I just adopted a cat on Monday so I have been spending a lot of time this week trying to make her feel comfortable in her new home! She is very sweet and affectionate and the cutest* cat in the world. Besides being a new cat owner, I am in a kickball league which will start up for the spring this week, and I enjoy meeting new people and exploring Raleigh.
Do you have any advice for aspiring analysts or those new to the field?
Always follow and question the data. If something about it sparks your interest, there is probably a story behind it. Analysts are basically forensic scientists.
Favorite work/life slogan or quote?
Found this one on the back of a raisin box once: “Both our buddies and our enemies can teach us about life.”
The Brooks Bell Star of the Week is a team member who has gone above and beyond typical expectations during the week. The award is designed to empower our team and ensure everyone’s hard work is appreciated and recognized.
The winner receives a large trophy they get to keep for the entire week, fully equipped with extra Nerf darts (extra protection for those impromptu Nerf wars). They also get the honor of selecting the following week’s winner.
