10 Companies Hiring Testing, Personalization and Analytics Pros in February 2019

What do Spotify, StitchFix, Esurance and the NBA all have in common? Well, they’re all currently building out their experimentation teams. If you’re thinking about making a change, check out this month’s roundup of jobs in testing, personalization and analytics.

1. Spotify – Principal Product Manager – Experimentation Platform

Talk about dream job status. Spotify is looking for a senior leader to lead and implement their vision for experimentation at scale. According to the post, experimentation is a high priority for Spotify.

The company is already running simultaneous experiments across 100+ teams, and they’re currently in process of building a next-generation experimentation platform that will make the company one of the strongest players for the next 10 years of innovation in the music and tech industry.

2. Brooks Bell – Various Roles

If weekly team breakfasts, working with awesome people and helping leading brands execute their testing and personalization strategies sounds like fun to you, consider applying to one of the many positions we have open here at Brooks Bell.

We’re currently hiring a Data Scientist, a UX Researcher, an Optimization Consultant, an Optimization Analyst, a JavaScript Developer and a Business Development Representative—all based out of our Raleigh, NC headquarters (some remote options available).

3. Allegiant – eCommerce Analytics Manager

Based out of Las Vegas, the eCommerce Analytics Manager will be primarily responsible for managing, administrating, and optimizing the various analytics platforms used by Allegiant’s multiple brands. This person will also play a critical role in generating incremental revenue, optimizing their customer experience, and in driving maximum value from their analytics investments.

4. Wyndham Destinations – Manager of Digital Analytics and Testing

Wyndham Destination is seeking a Manager of Digital Analytics and Testing in sunny Orlando, Florida. This person will join a growing team of analytics experts and manage the processes and workflows to create accurate data collection, processing, modeling, and analysis.

In addition to creating and executing multivariate or a/b/c tests to improve the website experience and performance, this role will be tasked with using advanced data modeling, predictive modeling and analytical techniques to interpret key findings from digital data and source system company data. They will use these insights to make recommendations and provide key findings to drive initiatives that support business objectives.

5. The Venetian Casino Resort Inc – Senior Manager, eCommerce Analytics and Data Science

The job description for this one is extensive; it pretty much sounds like you’d be building the eCommerce analytics program from the ground up. Think: dashboard creation and reporting, predictive modeling, managing the customer data warehouse, identifying trends, uncovering insights and offering recommendations to the eCommerce marketing and product teams.

6. StitchFix – Data Platform Engineer – Experimentation

A bit different than your usual testing and personalization job opportunity, but interesting nonetheless. This is for a role on the team that manages, builds and runs Stitchfix’s experimentation platform, rather than being involved in running or analyzing experiments.

StitchFix’s experimentation platform team is a small, nimble group of hybrid data science, data platform and software engineers that run the entire experimentation stack at Stitch Fix – from backend services to metrics pipelines, dashboards, and internal notification systems. While their main workhorse is A/B tests, they also support other testing policies such as multi-armed bandits and geo-randomized marketing campaigns.

According to the job post, as a team, they are “driven by the thrill of helping their colleagues make better decisions faster and with less friction, which directly increases the velocity of the business.”

7. Creative Market – Director of Product

Creative Market offers a platform where creators across the globe buy and sell digital design assets. They’re passionate about building tools and experiences that make beautiful, effective design simple and accessible to everyone.

This newly-created role reports directly the VP of Product and is tasked with overseeing a team of Product Managers to increase their rate of execution, experimentation and idea validation.

8. Esurance – Marketing Experimentation Specialist

Imagine being on a team that’s tasked with making an insurance website smarter, easier and….cooler? Where do we sign up? Seriously.

Judging by their photos on Glassdoor.com, Esurance’s company culture looks pretty fun as well.

But that’s not the only thing that caught our eye about this opportunity. The Marketing Experimentation Specialist will be part of a team that seeks out and validates ways to continually improve the Esurance customer experience and–as a result–their bottom line (preach!). They’ll lead cross-functional teams to provide requirements, direction and domain for new experiments, generate high-impact experiment ideas that support business objectives and prioritize those against existing roadmap, and manage the end-to-end experimentation process, among many other things.

9. Jet – Data Scientist, Experimentation

Another up-and-coming powerhouse in the experimentation space, Jet.com is a data-driven company that uses quantitative and qualitative data to better understand our customers and ultimately build products that add value to their onsite experience

This role will be responsible for leading the team’s analytics program by utilizing applied statistical methods to help better understand how customers react to different experiences on Jet.com. The ideal candidate has an inquisitive mindset and a passion for using data to find answers to difficult questions.

10. NBA – Project Employee, Adobe Analytics Technical Specialist

Looking at this post, I don’t think you have to be a sports ball expert to join the NBA’s Analytics and Data Science team (at least, as far as I can tell). But you DO have to know your stuff when it comes to implementing Adobe Analytics.

The National Basketball Association is seeking someone with experience managing the technical implementation of Adobe Analytics to join their Analytics and Data Science team in New York. Their ideal candidate will have at least two years experience partnering with business stakeholders to translate tracking and reporting needs into technical requirements for web and mobile developers.
